Styling Boho Layers This Winter 🍂
Fall is well and truly underway, and even though I personally prefer warmer weather and lighter clothing. There is something fun and comforting about layering - combining textures, earthy tones, and a sense of wanderlust in every outfit. You can get so creative with it!
Boho style is all about self-expression and storytelling. This season, I am layering with intention.
From ruffled details to a statement boot and boho chic layers of jewellery.
Here's some inspiration to channel your inner bohemian goddess this Autumn.
High Boots & Maxi's
Create romantic, yet grounded looks with tall boots (western style if you're like me), with flowing maxi dresses and skirts.
I love this contrast of softness from the flowing fabric in earthy tones, soft florals, creating that whimsical boho vibe, to the sturdiness of the boot that adds structure whilst keeping your legs warm!
Romantic Ruffles
Bringing a sense of movement, flow, and effortless elegance.
Keeping the legs covered but keeping it fun, playful and feminine. As of right now, I am currently little obsessed with ruffled trousers. For a balanced, layered aesthetics, I vision pairing ruffles with chunky knits for a look that's chic but also more casual.
Boho Soul - Layered Jewellery
Add that signature touch of individuality and intention with your jewellery.
Layer delicate gold necklaces over a flowy dress for subtle charm. Pair body chains and hand chains with your outfits to elevate your outfit and add a unique edge that feels effortlessly free-spirited - it's a way to bring artistry into your everyday wardrobe.
Or add a statement piece to a plunging neckline for a more bold touch.
You could also play around and add some chunkier designs with delicate gold pieces and try mixing up textures and materials.
What is more boho than a classic touch of fringe & suede?
Bring the warmth through a statement oversized jacket or even a suede skirt.
Add a depth of texture to your outfit with a fringed bag or scarf. Fringe adds movement and a dynamic energy to your autumn wardrobe.
